SAVING GRACE TO END The transitional “grace” period for restrictive agreements under the Competition Act 1998 ended last week [1st March 2001], a year after the Act came into force. The Act gave 12 months for businesses to sort out pre-March 2000 agreements which breach the new law but were legal under previous legislation.
