Europe Trademark Registration OHIM (the body responsible for examining and registering European Community Trade Marks (“CTMs”)) have reduced their fees.
It will now cost you a total of €900 in official fees (previously €1,600) to register your trade mark (trademark) in up to three classes. This is a massive saving of €700 (approximately £620)! We are pleased to supply on request a factsheet setting out the costs and benefits of and procedures for filing a CTM application.
In particular, a European Community trade mark registration will give you the right to use your mark for the goods and/or services that it covers in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands and the UK. If you would like to file a CTM application to try to monopolise your trade mark(s) in the European Community then we should be pleased to act for you. If you have any questions, then do feel free to contact:
